📋 CATEGORIZATION
• Instrument categories and age/grade levels will be adjusted according to the official registration form
• Detailed grade/level information is available in the official registration form
🎓 AGE / GRADE LEVELS
• Age groups and proficiency grades are determined based on educational level and instrument category
• Refer to the registration form for complete age/grade classification details
💰 REGISTRATION FEE
EARLY BIRD (until 28 February):
• Special discounted rate for registrations submitted before the Early Bird deadline
• Regular rates apply after the Early Bird period ends
Important Notes:
• Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
📄 PARTICIPANT DATA & PRIVACY
• Participant data collected for NYMO will be used to:
- Verify participant eligibility for competition participation
- Handle all correspondence and activities related to the competition
📷 DOCUMENTATION RIGHTS:
• NYMO reserves the right to record all or part of the competition process and related activities
• Recordings may be used for broadcasting and promotional purposes without any compensation to participants
🗓️ COMPETITION SCHEDULE
• The competition rundown (schedule) will be finalized after registration closes to allow for classification adjustments and other logistical arrangements
• Participants who fail to appear at their scheduled competition time may be disqualified
⚖️ RESULTS DECISION & POLICIES
• Regarding scoring results, decisions made by the jury panel acting on behalf of NYMO are FINAL. No discussions or correspondence regarding results will be entertained
• NYMO reserves the right to make changes or adjustments to competition regulations if deemed necessary
• By submitting the registration form, participants are considered to have agreed to all competition terms and conditions
🏆 OWNERSHIP AND DISTRIBUTION OF ASSESSMENT RESULTS
• Scoring results and jury comments are the property of the competition organizer (NYMO)
• Participants are entitled to receive copies or access according to established regulations
• Participants may use jury evaluation results solely for internal purposes and personal development, but not for publication without written permission from the organizer
🔍 ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY
NYMO's evaluation system implements a methodology called "Hermeneutics Intersubjective", which is:
• A comprehensive interpretive approach that deeply examines both technical and non-technical aspects
• Evaluates an entire performance holistically
📊 CRITERIA REFERENCES:
• NYMO utilizes a set of measurable references for each assessment aspect
• These references serve as guidelines for jurors to assign scoring points at the appropriate level for a given performance
👥 ASSESSMENT PERSPECTIVE:
Competitions will be evaluated by a minimum of 2 (two) jurors with expertise in the following areas:
1. Technical-Performance
2. Interpretation
📈 Content Achievement:
• Material (repertoire performed) → Material Score serves as the 'benchmark' for capability
• Execution of material → Execution Score (may be higher, equal to, or lower than the material score)
🏅 MEDALS AND CERTIFICATES
Every participant receives a certificate of achievement and a medal as recognition of accomplishment:
🥇 GOLD WITH DISTINCTION : 93.00 – 100.00
🥇 GOLD I : 90.00 – 92.99
🥇 GOLD II : 85.00 – 89.99
🥇 GOLD III : 80.00 – 84.99
🥈 SILVER I : 77.00 – 79.99
🥈 SILVER II : 74.00 – 76.99
🥈 SILVER III : 70.00 – 73.99
🥉 BRONZE : 55.00 – 69.99
📝 PROFICIENCY - NYMO'S ADDED VALUE
"Certificates and Medals alone are not sufficient to explain a child's learning process and potential"
Therefore, at NYMO, in addition to receiving overall score reports, participants will also receive the jury board's analytical assessment of their individual achievement in the form of:
1. PROFICIENCY SUMMARY
2. TAPE COMMENTARY
